Images depict neurovascular system in transgenic reporter mice hearts. Hearts underwent whole-mount immunostaining and confocal imaging.
Cardiac nervous system architecture captured with staining for parasympathetic nerves (Choline Acetyltransferase, ChAT), sympathetic nerves (Tyrosine Hydroxylase, TH) or all nerves (Beta-Tubulin III, Tuj1). Cardiovascular system labeled for arteries (Connexin 40, Cx40) and veins (Endomucin, EMCN).
